What does this role entail?Reporting to the Kitchen Manager, you will be supporting the food production operation by carrying out the delivery of the food, beverage and associated products, and to support the Kitchen Team in managing the diary and deliveries schedule. To maintain and top up the front of house and point of sale products. You will be the front of house customer facing member of staff for food and beverage deliveries.Key duties will include:To collect food orders, use stock documents and load carefully for transportDelivery of food and beverage items and other products including liaison with customers and others to arrange delivery times.At all times to provide the highest standards of reception and service to customers and others to arrange delivery times.Responsible for complying with all statutory and other legal requirements affecting this area of work, particularly including food safety compliance.Effective and efficient use of all vehicles and equipment to ensure maximum output to the highest standards, using the best and safest working practices.To maintain all work areas in a neat and tidy condition.To be responsible for the security and accounting of all stocks, plant, machinery, equipment, produce, handled and used in the course of employment.To always provide a customer-focused service ensuring that all work / product is completed to the highest standards of the brand.Always represent the Company by being smart in appearance and presentable whilst behaving in an appropriate manner in line with our cultural values.The above list of duties is not exclusive or exhaustive and the post holder will be required to undertake such tasks as may reasonably be expected within the scope of the role.About youDVLA driving licenseTo be able to organize deliveries.Experience of delivery driver work.Strong sense of customer service and demonstrates an understanding of the needs of customers, keeping them in mind when taking actions or making decisions.Good written and oral communication skillsAbility to work under pressure and to deadlinesGood organizational and time management skillsExcellent interpersonal and customer service skillsAbility to work on your own initiativeHonesty and reliabilityAttention to detailA little about usAt Longleat we offer a day out like no other, our guests are invited to step into the Thynn family home where they will find the finest example of Elizabethan Architecture.
