Summary

Class 2 Driver

Salary: £39952.78 per annum plus Veolia benefits - Weekly Pay

  • £5 Daily meal allowance
  • Single person allowance is paid to drivers covering a euro route alone if a high enough number of lifts is achieved.

Hours: 48 hours per week, Mostly 4 am starts finishing around 14.30pm

Some days you will be asked to start at a later time so you must be flexible with working hours. Bank holidays are working days but a day in lieu is given.

What will you be doing?


  • Driving to planned collection locations and moving and emptying multiple waste containers.
  • Completing daily checks of the vehicle as per our driver operator handbook
  • Ensuring all information is input into the onboard system and all paperwork is kept up to date and submitted daily
  • Complying with all traffic laws and legislation including security and weight of loads
  • Ensuring that the carriageway is left in a clean condition and any spillages are cleaned up




What are we looking for?


  • Class C (Cat C) licence and some previous driving experience. If you're newly qualified, we also want to hear from you.
  • Up to date CPC / Digi card
  • A can-do attitude and strong time management skills are also key.
  • Being a team player is key to ensuring our collections run smoothly.
