Qualified Electrical Installation Engineer
Clarkson Electrical Solutions Ltd – Carnforth
Full-time | Permanent
Salary: £17.68 – £20.48 per hour (JIB rates, dependent on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 am – 4:30 pm (half-hour unpaid lunch)
Location: Based in Carnforth – work across UK
Clarkson Electrical Solutions is a NICEIC-approved electrical contractor based in Carnforth with over 20 years’ experience servicing both domestic and commercial clients. Our team of ECS-registered electricians are fully qualified to 18th Edition standards, with CompEx-trained staff for work in hazardous areas. We cover North Lancashire, South Cumbria, and West Yorkshire. Key Responsibilities
• Execute electrical installation projects to a high standard
• Work across domestic, commercial, and renewable energy installations
• Diagnose and repair of electrical faults
• Complete documentation via tablet
• Travel to job sites locally and occasionally elsewhere in the UK
Requirements
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation & Maintenance (or equivalent)
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• ECS Gold Card (preferred)
• Level 3 Periodic Inspection & Testing of Electrical Installations (preferred)
• CompEx qualification is advantageous
• Own hand/power tools
• Full UK driving licence
• Able to work independently and collaboratively within a small team
