Summary

Our Public Sector Client currently seeks a Full -Time Temporary ongoing Band 3 Contracts Officer at their site in Lurgan

This is an ongoing temporary position, starting asap

The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge in Microsoft office especially Excel

Hours of work Mon-Fri 9.00am- 5.00pm (37.5hours per week)

Rate of pay £13.57 per hour

Duties include:

Assist the Contracts Manager in the preparation of contract documentation for procurement, tendering and payments.

  • Set up and maintain robust filing systems for contract documentation, keeping detailed records of all procurement processes and ensuring that the contracts and STA databases are is up-to-date.
  • Liaise with outside contractors regarding service and maintenance contracts, sending out notifications of contract start dates and terminations in a timely manner and deal with queries etc.

Contracts Administration

  • Set up and arrange CAG group meetings. Record and distribute associated minutes.
  • Ensure associated contract payments are made in a timely manner.
  • Operate MICAD and the BSTP finance system (or equivalent systems) for receipt and processing of contract invoices for payment

Essential Criteria: ( Must be clearly demonstrated on CV)

    • HNC/HND or equivalent/higher qualification in an administrative related field AND 1 years' experience in a clerical/administrative role.

    OR

    • 4 GCSEs at Grades A-C including English Language and Maths or equivalent/higher qualification AND 2 years' experience in a clerical/administrative role, at least 1 of which should be in a contracts admin role.

    OR

    • 3 years' experience in a clerical/administrative role, at least 1 of which should be in a contracts admin role.
    • Experience in the use of Microsoft office products including Excel, PowerPoint, Access Databases and Word.
