CATEGORY MANAGER
Location: Denmark Hill, London (with flexible working)
Salary: £54,150 - £60,900 per annum + up to 12% annual bonus

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Category Manager – Facilities Management (FM) Services to lead and manage procurement
activities across Hard FM services. This includes building maintenance, M&E systems, compliance testing, lifecycle and capital
estates contracts.
In this strategic role, you’ll be managing a portfolio with up to £20 million annual influenceable spend, driving commercial
value, managing complex tenders, engaging key suppliers, and working directly with senior NHS stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and implement FM procurement strategy, aligned with Estates & Facilities goals.
* Manage high-value tenders and contracts in Hard FM services.
* Build and maintain supplier relationships, ensuring performance and innovation.
* Engage with key stakeholders across Trusts and partners to deliver sustainable savings.
* Deliver commercial, operational and strategic improvements in procurement services.
* Lead change initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
What We’re Looking For:
* Strong experience in category management and strategic sourcing within Hard FM.
* Proven record of delivering savings and commercial value in complex environments.
* Sound knowledge of EU Procurement regulations and NHS/public sector frameworks.
* MCIPS qualified (or working towards) and educated to degree level or equivalent.
* Excellent negotiation, project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Experience managing contracts and supplier performance via SLAs and KPIs.
