Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing our development and operational processes, ensuring seamless integration and delivery of software applications. You will collaborate closely with software developers, system operators, and other IT staff to manage code releases and automate processes, contributing to the overall efficiency of our projects.
Duties
Collaborate with development teams to design and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
Implement and maintain AWS services, develop deployment pipelines, and create automation within DevOps tools
Troubleshoot software issues across various platforms including Linux and Windows Server.
Implement and maintain AWS services such as EC2, ECS, S3, RDS, and Lambda.
Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of AWS services, including IAM, VPC, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, and SES.
Develop scripts for automation using languages such as Ruby on Rails and Gradle.
Maintain AWS-based solutions to support a distributed micro-services architecture.
Work with Jira for project management and issue tracking.
Create new automation within DevOps tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Experience
Proven experience in a DevOps role or similar position is essential.
Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems; familiarity with Windows Server is advantageous.
Experience with application servers such as WebSphere is preferred.
Proficiency in scripting languages including Ruby on Rails; experience with Gradle is a plus.
Understanding of networking concepts, particularly LAN configurations.
Familiarity with .NET frameworks is desirable.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on software troubleshooting.
Must Have:

Linux, Atlassian tools such as Jira, Bitbucket
Experience using Jenkins Pipeline and Docker
