Summary

Research and Innovation Services (RIS) provides expert advice and assistance in research funding, bid support and management, collaboration with industry and other strategic partners as well as the protection and commercialisation of intellectual property. We are recruiting a Departmental Coordinator to provide high-quality administrative support, develop and maintain knowledge of our processes and practices to ensure we continue to run smoothly, organise meetings and events, including with our funders and partners, and manage the office environment ensuring health and safety regulations are met. This is a critical post for us, at the very heart of the RIS team.

You will have excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task and to work well as part of a busy team. You will be a self-starter and enjoy the challenge of making things happen in a fast-moving environment. You will have strong office experience in a customer-focused environment. Experience of working in a research support capacity within the higher education sector would be advantageous.
