Based at King’s Court Council Offices, King’s Lynn

We have an opportunity for you to join our team as full time Caretaker based at our Kings Court Council Offices. If you enjoy problem-solving and hands-on work we need you to be a dedicated caretaker to maintain the security, cleanliness, and upkeep of council-owned buildings, primarily based at King’s Court.

This role involves conducting inspections, managing alarm systems, performing minor repairs, record keeping and ensuring all areas remain presentable and safe. You will also be responsible for setting up rooms for meetings, arranging furniture, and assisting with IT and audio-visual equipment.

You will have experience with security and fire alarm systems, a strong understanding of health and safety regulations, and practical maintenance skills. Good communication and customer service are essential, as well as the ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends when needed. You must also have a full UK driving licence to be able to drive the Council van.
