About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our operations team at our busy Eurocentral distribution hub. This is a key role in ensuring the smooth running of daily warehouse activities, including the efficient movement of goods, people management, and health & safety compliance.

As Warehouse Supervisor, you'll work closely with the Warehouse Manager to coordinate a team of operatives, maintain high performance standards, and help implement continuous improvements across the operation.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations including inbound/outbound deliveries, stock control, and order fulfilment

  • Allocate tasks, monitor workloads, and support team performance to meet operational targets

  • Conduct staff briefings and ensure clear communication across shifts

  • Enforce health & safety, hygiene, and quality control standards at all times

  • Train and mentor warehouse staff, including new starters

  • Liaise with transport, inventory, and customer service teams to ensure smooth end-to-end operations

  • Contribute to operational reporting and help identify areas for efficiency improvements

  • Support shift handovers and cover as needed for other supervisors or managers

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory or team leader role (essential)

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

  • Working knowledge of warehouse systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)

  • Strong understanding of health & safety regulations and compliance standards

  • Counterbalance or Reach Truck licence is desirable, but not essential

  • Flexibility to work occasional weekends or extended hours when required
