This is an exciting time to join the School of Law at the University of Bradford. We are a modern and progressive Law School invested in developing the lawyers of the future. Our curriculum addresses emerging legal issues, and employability is core to our study programmes and extra-curricular activities including the Law Clinic, Mooting and our Career Booster programme. What you will be doing:
We are currently seeking to appoint an Associate Professor in law to join our enthusiastic and motivated team of academics to continue to build the profile of the school by contributing to learning and research excellence. We are especially interested in candidates with expertise in International Banking Law, International Investment Law, and International Financial Regulation to contribute towards development and teaching of these and other related modules on our LLM programmes. They will also be required to teach one or more areas of our UG curriculum and should ideally have some experience in programme leadership.
Qualifications/ experience:
PhD in law
Honours degeree in law or related subject area
You will have a strong and active research profile evidenced by internationally recognised research publications in the relevant field(s)
Successful supervision of PhD students to completion
A record of attracting research funding or demonstrate the potential to do so, as well as other esteem indicators.
