• Days: 08:30–16:00 / 16:00–22:00 (varied)
• Nights: 21:00–08:00 (ad hoc)
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Community Care Support Worker to join our well-established care team in Stamford (PE9). You will be supporting a client living with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) in a warm and welcoming home environment. The client has a rich personal history and a strong sense of independence. Communication is central to their care, and staff must be quick to learn and proficient in using an E-Tran board to ensure effective interaction.
Key Responsibilities and Skills Required:
• Provide high-quality, person-centred care with empathy and respect
• Support with advanced clinical needs including PEG, tracheostomy, NIV, oral suction, bowel care, pulse oximetry, medication administration (including rectal), pressure area care, and buccal midazolam
• Engage with our client's interests, including food planning, sports, and technology
• Promote autonomy and involve client in all aspects of care and decision-making
• Ensure continuity and consistency in care delivery
