We'd love for you to join our dedicated local care team, as a domiciliary care assistant. We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team. You will provide essential support to our clients in their own homes ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being are paramount. Your contributions will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for the elderly and vulnerable in our community.

We cover Chelmsford, Billericay, Ingatestone, Brentwood,,d and surrounding areas. All the Carers will be expected to cover all locations. You will also be paid for travel time and mileage.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
Support individuals in maintaining their independence and dignity while providing companionship.
Implement and follow care plans tailored to each client's needs, ensuring that all requirements are met effectively.
Communicate clearly with clients and families.
Maintain accurate records of client progress as per preferred outcomes.
Drive to clients’ homes as required, ensuring timely arrival for scheduled visits.
Adhere to health and safety regulations while maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients.

Skills

Proficient in English with excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
Previous experience in a home care setting is advantageous but not essential.
Familiarity with IT systems for record-keeping and communication purposes is beneficial.
Ability to understand and implement care plans accurately.
A valilicensece is required for the role to travel between locations. (Essential)
A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others is essential for success in this role.

Weekly schedule:

Mornings 0700-1600
Afternoons 1600-2300
Alternate weekends working (essential)
