Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Class 2 Hiab Driver ( Grab) to join our client. The ideal candidate will possess a valid driving licence and have experience in operating Hiab vehicles. As a Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods to various locations, ensuring that all deliveries meet our high standards of service.
Duties
Operate Hiab (grab) lorries to transport goods to designated locations.
Ensure the safe loading and unloading of products, adhering to all safety protocols.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
Maintain accurate delivery records and complete necessary paperwork.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving to ensure safety on the road.
Requirements
Valid commercial driving licence (C) with a clean driving record.
Valid CPC Card
Valid Tacho Card
Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
Familiarity with flatbed lorry operations is advantageous.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
