About the Role:

We are currently seeking experienced Engineering Supervisors (ES) to join our growing rail team. This is an excellent opportunity for rail professionals looking for either consistent weekend shifts or full-time employment with competitive pay, working on a variety of rail infrastructure projects across the UK.

As an Engineering Supervisor, you will play a key role in the safe delivery of works within a Possession and will be responsible for coordinating site activities, liaising with key personnel, and ensuring works are carried out to industry and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate engineering activities on rail projects during possessions and isolations

  • Act as the main point of contact between on-site teams and the Possession/Worksite Manager

  • Ensure all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with Network Rail and company procedures

  • Carry out pre-work briefings and ensure all staff are clear on safety protocols

  • Report incidents, near misses, or unsafe practices promptly

  • Accurately complete and submit required documentation and reports

Requirements:
  • Valid Engineering Supervisor (ES) competency (Sentinel Card)

  • PTS (Personal Track Safety)

  • COSS and/or SWL desirable

  • Full UK driving licence preferred

  • Minimum 1 year experience in a similar ES role

  • Good communication and leadership skills

  • Willing to work weekends and/or full-time shifts, including nights if required
