Join one of the top 10 NHS trusts for Emergency Department (ED) performance! We have exciting full-time and part-time Sister/Charge Nurse roles in the Paediatric Emergency Departments at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells Hospitals.
This is a great leadership opportunity in a growing service, supported by a skilled, compassionate paediatric emergency team. The role is primarily based at Maidstone, with some cross-site working. Shifts include nights and weekends, supporting our 24/7 care in a fast-paced environment.

You will be a confident and experienced Registered Children’s Nurse with substantial experience inacute paediatrics and/or paediatric A&E. You’ll ideally hold anemergency care qualification, beEPALS certified, and demonstrate evidence ofclinical leadership,shift management, andstaff development.

All successful applicants will be required to complete our corporate trust induction once a start date had been agreed.
Following your corporate induction you will be expected toattend the Trust’s 2-week Induction Programme for RNs, NAs, RMs, ODPs and Paramedics. The programme is full-time (please emailmtw-tr.professionalstandards@nhs.netif this is problematic) and will involve travel to both Trust sites. The programme includes supernumerary shifts in the clinical area, classroom-based sessions and e-learning.
