Summary
West Wales Systems is on the lookout for a super-organised IT Office Administrator to join our growing team at Haverfordwest Airport. We’re a down-to-earth tech company providing IT support, phones, CCTV, cabling, and more to businesses across West Wales.
This role sits right at the heart of everything we do. You'll be the go-to person making sure we’ve got the right kit in the right place at the right time, helping keep the team (and our stockroom) in good shape. It’s varied, fast-paced, and vital to the way we operate.
Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls and direct queries clearly and professionally
- Welcome visitors and clients with a warm, efficient front-of-house experience
- Manage stock: check deliveries, reorder supplies, and keep everything organised
- Liaise with suppliers to place and chase up orders
- Help prepare accurate quotes and update client records
- Process supplier invoices and support basic finance admin
- Keep the office tidy, well-stocked, and running like clockwork
- Support the directors with general admin and diary tasks
- Pitch in wherever needed to keep the business moving
Requirements:
- A genuine interest in IT – curiosity and a willingness to learn are essential
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Confident and friendly on the phone and face-to-face
- Clear written communication, with great spelling and grammar
- Comfortable using IT systems like CRMs and finance software
- Professional, reliable, and calm under pressure
- Must be able to pass and maintain BS7858 security clearance (including enhanced DBS - we’ll cover the cost)
