Summary
The successful candidate will be an autonomous qualified physiotherapist providing assessment, treatment planning and provision for older people with Organic and functional mental health problems, who have complex physical and psychological needs. Often these patients present with additional needs around frailty syndrome so you will be expected to assess using appropriate outcome measures and deliver physiotherapy specific interventions to address frailty syndrome. You will be working closely with other professions in the CMHT MDT, contributing to daily teams huddle. Significant post qualifying experience in Physiotherapy including experience working with older people with complex needs is essential. Experience of working with patients with mental health needs is desirable. You will be HCPC registered.
