We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Level 2 SEN Teaching Assistant to join our collaborative academy, which is dedicated to developing our great team, centred around humility and respect. The 1:1 role will be working with a child with complex needs under the guidance of a Class Teacher. Understanding of SEMH would definitely be an advantage.
At St Peter’s Primary there is a real sense of community between the school, the surrounding area and St Peters Church. A strength of our school is its size: we are a small school with currently 172 children on roll, including a nursery. It means we know all our children and families well and can make sure that we do our best to develop their learning in a happy, safe, secure and values - respecting environment.
In joining St Peters, you will be part of a friendly and welcoming staff team and a supportive community. You will have the opportunity to develop in an environment that has a strong focus on CPD, whatever career stage you are at. As a Church of England school, you will be happy to support the Anglican ethos through our school values.
Tours of the school are welcome. To arrange a tour please contact spe.admin@stcmat.org or call 01752 667724.
