Summary
We’re looking for a Retail Team Member to welcome visitors to the National Trust Garden Centre at Morden Hall Park, to answer their questions and help them make the most of their day.
Salary: £27,202.50. The advertised salary is inclusive of the Outer London Weighting allowance of £3,315 per annum (prorated if you're part-time)
Contract/duration: Fixed Term until 31 October 2025.
Hours/working pattern: This is a full-time role, working 37.5hrs per week, including alternate weekend working. Typically, you'll be working from 9am - 5:15pm per day.

What you'll be doing
As a member of the retail team, you’ll be offering visitors help and advice with their shopping. You’ll have high standards of presentation in the shop while providing excellent service to all customers.
This role is predominantly based outdoors, so you'll be working outside in all weathers, and it may be physically demanding & includes alternate weekend working.
You'll help monitor and maintain stock and assist the outdoor team with supporting our visitors and merchandising plants and outdoor retail products. You’ll lead by example when it comes to focusing on income and profitability, which help to fund the National Trust’s vital conservation work.
Reporting to the Plant Department Manager, you'll be working with colleagues and volunteers in the outdoor department and working alongside colleagues in other departments to give the best possible service to everyone who visits.
