We are seeking a proactive and organised Mobile Facilities Assistant to join our Facilities Management team. This role is integral to ensuring the smooth running of our facilities and delivering a high-quality service to customers and stakeholders.
You will provide essential administrative and operational support across all aspects of Facilities Management, ensuring excellent service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Job Description
This is a varied role that will require excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
You will be responsible for ensuring that our facilities operate smoothly and efficiently, supporting both employees and visitors.
The successful candidate will be a key point of contact for facilities-related queries and will help maintain a safe, secure, and well-organised workplace environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting Contractor visits at various sites
Ensuring security procedures are followed
Inductions for new starters, contractors, including H&S and environmental inductions
Logging, facilitating and overseeing reactive and PPM visits
Ensuring compliance with environmental and HSEQ standards
Ensuring compliance with HSEQ, environmental standards, and statutory checks (e.g. fire risk, water hygiene)
Completing and assisting with audits
Assisting AFM with weekly & monthly general tasks
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Ideally, candidates will have experience working in Facilities previously
Team player
Excellent communication skills – with a good standard of written and spoken English
Good computer skills and comfortable using MS Office
Customer-focused
Problem Solver
Experienced in a fast-paced environment
Full UK Driving Licence essential
