Occupational Therapist (BR11)
Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (BR11) to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities
Conduct thorough assessments of patients' functional abilities and needs
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patients' specific goals
Provide therapeutic interventions using techniques such as exercises, activities of daily living, and adaptive equipment
Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
Educate patients and their families about treatment processes and self-care techniques
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care
Stay current with best practices and evidence-based research in occupational therapy
Participate in professional development opportunities and continuing education courses.
Requirements
Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Valid state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist
Strong understanding of patient assessment and rehabilitation techniques
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
Proficiency in documenting patient progress and treatment outcomes.
Hours Per Week: 36.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £21.16
