Summary
Danny Sullivan Group are currently looking for a hardworking and dependable General Operative / Labourer to join a busy infrastructure site based in Calvert. This is a great opportunity for someone with the right experience and qualifications to step into a short-term role with a leading contractor, supporting key operational teams on the ground. If you’re proactive, safety-aware, and ready to start immediately, we want to hear from you.
Job Description:
- Full-Time Position
- Short term work
- Monday to Friday – 7:30am to 4:00pm
- Weekend and overtime opportunities available
- Immediate Start
Your Role:
- Working alongside the Vacuum Excavator Operator as a spotter, helping guide safe operations
- Supporting daily site tasks, including basic groundworks and general labouring duties
- Maintaining high standards of site safety, cleanliness, and organisation
- Assisting with deliveries, equipment handling, and other tasks as required by site management
- Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow
Requirements:
- Valid CSCS Card
- EKFB Induction (essential for access)
- Full driving licence or own transport (site is not accessible by public transport)
- Right to Work in the UK
- Previous experience on construction or civils projects is preferred
- Must be punctual, safety-conscious, and willing to get stuck in
- One working reference (preferred)
