Empowering Learning is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic QTS Teacher to join an excellent Secondary School in Huddersfield. This role is fora September start and will be working with a small nurture group of SEND pupils.
QTS and SEND experience are essential for the role!
The Role is initially from September 2025 - January 2026
Required Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching across Key Stages 3,4 & 5 .
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage learners.
- A passion for inspiring and supporting children in their academic and personal development.
- Commitment to creating an inclusive, nurturing learning environment.
- Excellent organisation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to differentiate lessons to support learners of varying abilities.
- Enthusiasm for collaborating with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community.
Job Description
- Delivering engaging, creative, and well-structured lessons across the primary curriculum.
- Providing individual and group learning support to maximise student potential.
- Assessing pupils' progress and maintaining accurate records to support their development.
- Encouraging a positive and stimulating classroom atmosphere that fosters a love for learning.
- Contributing to the school's extracurricular activities and wider initiatives.
- Supporting children's social and emotional well-being alongside academic success.
- Working collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and fellow educators to enhance learning experiences.
