The opportunity
A fantastic opportunity has become available with our client who are currently seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to drive the development of all QS duties.
Excellent Remuneration package of £75k-£80k Per Anum Dependent on experience
Your duties and responsibilities will be
- Month End Auto-WIP & Journal returns
- Co-ordination of AFC & internal Rolling Forecasts
- Provision of information for Monthly Reports
- Review of EW notifications & client responses or notifications downstream & upstream
- Liaising with Client on compensation events, payment allocation queries or disallowed items
- Cost Analysis via SAP & Power BI
- Assisting CM on compilation of Project Board Reports
- Calculation of BOQ star rates
- Remeasurement of BOQ
- Update Commercial Registers i.e. CE, EW, Plant, Sales Invoices etc.
- Drafting of notifications including letters
- Overseeing of Subcontract Management processes
- Value analysis– SOR, FP, day works
- Change Management – Notification, Quotation & Agreement of Compensation Events
- Payment Application & Invoicing
- Innovation to improve job margin
You will have the following qualifications and experience
- Knowledge of NAECI Agreement
- Experience on major Construction Projects
- NEC4 Option B Contracts
- Standard Method of Measurement
- Basic knowledge of P6 programmes.
