Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver Location: BasildonType: PermanentIndustry: LogisticsSalary: £37,500kpa + excellent company benefitsWorkchain is currently seeking a HGV Class 2 Driver to join our client in Basildon on a permanent basis.Reporting to the Road Freight Manager and the Logistics Manager, this is an exciting time to be joining our client with a busy working environment and business growth plans throughout 2025.Immediate interviews and starts are available.The role will be working on a Monday to Friday basis, 6.00am to Finish, an element of flexibility will be needed during busy periods. Key Responsibilities:· Collecting and delivering freight around the Essex / London areas· Group / multi drop routes including tail lifting· Ensuring all loads and deliveries are checked for any differences· Daily vehicle checks· Ensuring all delivery paper work is completed correctly and customer service levels are met· Daily collections and deliveries to a select E16 clientKey Experience and Qualifications:HGV Class 2 Driving Licence, Digital Tacho, Driver CPC, 5 years full work history with no gaps due to referencing and CAA (aviation security checks).The role will be working on a Monday to Friday basis, 6.00am to Finish, an element of flexibility will be needed during busy periods.
