Crynodeb
The postholder will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of COVID-19 vaccines to patients in their homes across the East Surrey area. They will also be responsible for entering data into the appropriate clinical systems and maintaining effective communication with the Primary Care Network (PCN). This work will be carried out in collaboration with the practice teams within the relevant PCN. Key Responsibilities To assist practices with the administration of vaccinations for their patient lists, both in surgeries and in patients homes. To take responsibility for the collection and safe transport of vaccine supplies and consumables from practices within the PCN, following the appropriate governance processes. To visit housebound patients, assess their clinical suitability for vaccination, and obtain informed consent before administering the vaccine, as appropriate. To enter data promptly into point-of-care systems and update the practices with any relevant information.
