Summary
Maintains effective communication and good relationships with children, parents, carers, relatives and staff. Accept delegated duties within parameters of capabilities and competencies. Complete documentation in accordance with Trust policy Participate in programmes of in-service training as required Chaperoning of patients if required Maintain a standard of conduct and dress to sustain public confidence and promote the profile of health care employees. Contribute to the prevention and management of untoward occurrences by responding to emergencies, summoning appropriate assistance, reassurance until qualified staff available, maintenance of privacy/dignity/confidentiality, maintenance of a safe working environment. Clerical duties associated with the efficient management of the paediatric service including answering the telephone and relaying messages. Checking and maintaining stock levels.
