Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer

Location: Outskirts of Norwich

Type: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: 4 on 4 off (2 shifts of days followed by 2 shifts of nights)

Salary: £52,000

Are you an experienced electrically biased Maintenance Engineer looking for a challenging new role on the outskirts of Norwich? We're hiring for a full-time, permanent position with an attractive 4 on 4 off shift pattern (days and nights) and a competitive salary of £52,000.

As an Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer, you'll be crucial in maintaining and repairing a variety of industrial equipment, including conveyors, vacuum equipment, and PLCs, ensuring smooth manufacturing operations and strict adherence to health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair faults on manufacturing and production equipment.
  • Contribute to proactive maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct PLC faultfinding.
  • Work confidently both autonomously and as part of a site-wide engineering team.
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent apprenticeship.
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to competently read electrical and mechanical schematic drawings.
