Summary

Plant Operators - 360 / FT Dumper / Roller

Acorn by Synergie is currently recruiting Plant Operators in Swansea for their client.

The project is replacing the existing defective highway drainage system with 1km of new gravity highway drainage utilising two existing large diameter (600mm) culvert crossings which direct flow from north to south and resurfacing and finishing.

These roles could go permanent for the right candidates.

Main duties include:
* Follow all reasonable instructions from site supervisors and any civils managers.
* Permit requirements when needed.
* The ability and knowledge to operate mobile plant on site to assist with running operations.
* The ability to operate any mobile plant if the appropriate training has been identified and in place to assist with the running operations.
* Appropriate reporting of any near hits, unsafe acts, unsafe conditions and incidents to site Manager.
* A flexible approach to working hours and availability of working weekends at times.
* Versatility to constant changing environments.
* Create a positive "can-do" team culture. .

Skills and Experience:

Essential
* Good communication skill to be able to understand the direction of tasks on site.
* An understanding of Risk Assessments and Safe System of Work Systems
* Working knowledge of construction processes, H&S and Environmental policies
* Ability to multitask and manage change
* Experience & qualifications in multiple categories of plant, ideally 360, FT Dumper or roller- NPORS with CSCS Or CPCS
