Summary
Kenect are currently seeking skilled Press Brake Operators to join their manufacturing team close to Leicester City Centre. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience with sheet metal fabrication. This role involves operating press brake machinery to bend and shape metal components according to specifications, ensuring high-quality production standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Operate press brake machinery
- To able to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Set and run machinery
- Performing quality checks
- Adhering to health and safety
Experience
- Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or in a similar role within the manufacturing sector.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and measuring instruments.
- Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
- Experience working with Amada/Megaform
