Summary

Kenect Recruitment are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our longstanding client based in Leicester, in the engineer industry.

Shifts: Monday to Friday

Shift times: Day shifts

Pay rate: starting from £16ph

Duties

Fabricate metal components according to specifications and drawings.
Assemble parts and structures using hand tools and power tools.
Perform welding tasks.
Utilise sheet metal and other materials effectively in fabrication processes.
Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the fabrication process, making necessary adjustments.
Working components - Conveyor belts etc
Nights out/ working away - as and when required (occasional)

Requirements

Proven experience in fabrication and welding, with a strong understanding of mechanical knowledge.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Experience working with sheet metal is advantageous but not essential.
Experience in the technical sector
Experience in working with bespoke items - ranging in size
Experience in Shot blasting/ Press break would be advantageous.
