Summary

Are you ready to take your Maths teaching to the next level? A School in Barking is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join their growing department from September 2025.

This is a full-time, permanent post suitable for experienced teachers or confident ECTs. You'll be delivering Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4, potentially KS5, depending on your experience. The department is well-resourced, friendly, and focused on making maths accessible, enjoyable, and successful for all students.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Contribute to curriculum development and resource sharing
• Track and assess student progress, adapting teaching as needed
• Support numeracy interventions and booster sessions
• Promote a positive and inclusive classroom culture
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to whole-school life

Qualifications and Experience

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching Maths in secondary settings
• Strong subject knowledge and curriculum familiarity
• ECTs welcome with full induction and mentoring support
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• A commitment to inclusive teaching and lifelong learning
