Scapa Flow Visitor Centre

Cleaner (Seasonal)

7.61 hours per week (average), 3 hours per day

Temporary up to 31 March 2027

£29,513 - £29,788 pro rata / £15.30 - £15.44 per hour (including shift allowance and Distant Islands Allowance)

Working pattern: 3 hours per day as per the following rota: March - Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday. April - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday. May to September - Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. October and November - Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday. December - Thursday, Friday and Saturday. January – no cleaning required. February – additional hours may be required 1 week prior to opening in March.

Applications are invited from motivated individuals to undertake cleaning duties at the above establishment. You will be required to carry out a range of cleaning activities following written procedures and using your own initiative where necessary.

Duties include the use of powered cleaning equipment to ensure the premises are kept in a clean and hygienic condition.
