Summary

Are you somebody who has the ambition and drive to progress and become a Refrigeration Engineer of the future?

Do you live in or around the Basingstoke and surrounding areas ?

If so, we are looking for a skilled Refrigeration Improver to join our team delivering maintenance services to our multi-site retail client.

  • Salary: Up to £34,215 per annum, depending on experience
  • Overtime is paid as time and a half
  • Door to door pay
  • 4% bonus, subject to achievement of targets. (Historically paid out)
  • Van (with option for personal use) and fuel card
  • Smartphone, tools, uniform, PPE

You will be responsible for travelling to client sites throughout your area carrying out a range of basic refrigeration maintenance and repair works.

As an Arcus Service Improver, you will enjoy working in a varied environment, being out and about on the road traveling to stores throughout your area to make sure we are providing the highest level of servicing and reactive call out work possible.

Each day will be different, so it is important you are flexible and efficient with your time and have an eagerness to learn quickly and rise to the challenge.

This role would be suitable for somebody who is F-GAS qualified with limited refrigeration experience wanting to gain on the job experience with a view further down the line of progressing into a full-time refrigeration engineer role, should a position be available.

Essential:

  • C&G 2079 / F- GAS
  • Valid UK driver's license
  • Experience working within a customer facing environment
  • Confident using handheld IT Equipment for managing works and documentation
  • Strong communication skills and work ethic.
  • Awareness and knowledge of health & safety.

Desirable as training will be provided:

  • Supermarket Experience

Other Information:

This position has a requirement for 1 in 4 on call.
