Summary
A Live in Nanny-Housekeeper is needed by this lovely family based in Henfield, West Sussex to help them in looking after their toddler and school-aged child while maintaining the cleanliness of their home. This position is perfect for someone who is responsible, nurturing, and able to balance childcare and household tasks effectively. They have two children but the main care will be for the younger child. The role also includes cooking and preparing healthy meals for the child and sometimes for the family. The family has lots of lands and some animals so someone pet-friendly is ideal but there will be no pet care required. Someone who can drive and holds a full driving license is required for this role.
A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, 50 hours per week
Accommodation: Separate bedroom and bathroom with own entrance
Duties include:
Drive the child to nursery, groups, clubs, and activities
Bathing and maintaining proper hygiene for the children
Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children
Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children
Keeping children's bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park
Encouraging early literacy by reading books to the children
Providing homework assistance and supporting the children’s educational growth
Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the children's structure and development
Ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of a private residence
Performing routine floor care, including sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping
Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
Cleaning and sanitising bathroom facilities, including sinks, bathtubs, and showers
Cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen area
Washing, drying, and organising clothing and linens
Managing laundry tasks, including ironing and folding
Making beds and replacing linens as needed
Cleaning and organising dish ware, including loading and unloading the dishwasher
Cooking healthy meals and meal prepping for the children and family
The family is seeking someone to hire on the 1st of July 2025 and they are happy to meet lovely candidates.
