Summary
As a General Practitioner at Winchester Urgent Care Clinic, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our patients and working independently in an Out of Hours care setting. Youll provide expert face to face consultations, ensuring safe, informed clinical decisions with compassion and respect. Maintain the highest clinical standards for all patients accessing the service. Elucidate the primary reason for the patients attendance at the Urgent Treatment Centre. Assess, investigate, diagnose and treat patients presenting with clinical needs which can be met by primary care. Refer to emergency department where appropriate. Provide emergency care while waiting for emergency transfer of patient when appropriate. Provide advice and support to colleagues and the multi disciplinary team. Manage the flow of patients by balancing the clinical need of the patient with the capacity of the provider to deliver the necessary response.
