Summary
Location: Hybrid working from home and the Falmer office, East Sussex on a weekly basis
Contract: Permanent, Full Time - flexible and part time hours may be available if desired, just let us know
Responsibilities
As a Procurement Lead you'll be working within the team, supporting them with the sourcing, negotiation and governance of goods and subcontract procurement.
Your day to day will include:
-Being responsible for ensuring procurement policies of both Kier Group, and Framework are adhered to.
-Leading market strategy development for medium to high-spend and provide expert advice and introduce initiatives to overcome industry challenges for AMP 8 and beyond.
-Developing Framework procurement strategy and models analysing buy versus build and direct employment versus subcontracting delivery.
-Working with Sustainability, Carbon and Environmental Leads reductions to ensure alignment of Kier strategies throughout supply chain, and with Head of Supply chain to drive strategic plan for BU is driven at framework level.
-Setting up Framework agreements with Suppliers and Subcontractors as part of our strategic partnership to deliver best value for all parties.
What are we looking for?This role of Procurement Lead is great for you if:
-You're a senior specialist with proven experience in a similar role within the infrastructure/utilities sector including civil engineering and MEICA requirements.
-Hold a degree relating to the industry and a chartered status or appropriate professional qualification.
-Knowledge of SAP SRM and Jaggaer systems.
