Summary

MEICA Engineer (Water)

Are you a MEICA Engineer with expertise in water and wastewater systems? We're looking for a talented individual to join our clients team, delivering critical AMP8 projects.

What You'll Do

You'll be responsible for the full lifecycle of MEICA elements on projects, including:

  • Detailed MEICA design (electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, control, automation).
  • Technical specifications and procurement support.
  • Ensuring system integration across all disciplines.
  • Providing site support and problem-solving during installation.
  • Assisting with commissioning and handover activities.
  • Ensuring compliance and quality assurance.
  • Collaborating with internal teams, clients, and contractors.
  • Preparing and reviewing project documentation.
What You'll Need
  • Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or relevant Engineering discipline.
  • Proven MEICA engineering experience within the water/wastewater industry (design, delivery, some commissioning).
  • Strong understanding of PLC/SCADA, control philosophies, and industrial networks.
  • Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Amtech).
  • Knowledge of UK electrical regulations, safety standards, and water industry specifics (WIMES).
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • CSCS Card (or ability to obtain).
  • (Desirable) Working towards Chartered Engineer (CEng) status.
