Summary
Are you ready to shape young minds and help students understand the world of enterprise? A School in Essex is seeking a dedicated Business Studies Teacher to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis from September 2025.
You'll teach across Key Stages 4 and 5, guiding students through business fundamentals, finance, marketing, and real-world applications. The school fosters a culture of inclusion, ambition, and student success - making this an ideal environment for both experienced educators and Early Career Teachers.

Key Responsibilities

Teach Business Studies at KS4 and KS5
•
Plan engaging, relevant lessons that build understanding and confidence
•
Assess student work and progress in line with curriculum requirements
•
Contribute to curriculum development and resource sharing
•
Encourage enterprise thinking and career awareness
•
Support extra-curricular and enrichment opportunities in Business
•
Work collaboratively within the department and across the school
Qualifications and Experience
•
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
•
Experience teaching Business Studies in a secondary school
•
Strong subject knowledge and ability to apply business concepts to real life
•
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
•
ECTs welcome - full induction and support provided
•
A commitment to inclusion and raising achievement
