Summary
We have an opportunity for an Animal Care Assistant to join our team at the Beech House practice in Warrington.
The job holder will provide assistance to the veterinary nurses in the care of our patients and general maintenance of the surgery premises. They will also help to provide a professional, effective and organised client reception when required.
Hours of work are based on working 37.5 hours per week on a rota, 3:4 weeks are worked between 8 am to 8 pm Monday to Friday and 1:4 weeks are worked 2 pm to 10:30 pm plus 1:4 weekends (which is taken back as time off in lieu) and two Bank Holidays per year.
Previous animal handling experience would be an advantage along with previous experience of working within a veterinary practice. Candidates must be confident communicators with strong interpersonal skills. There is the potential that this role could lead to an SVN Apprenticeship in the future.
