Location: Kidderminster
Starting Basic Salary: Up to £45,000 (DOE) + Bonus
Hours: 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (Flexible Hours)
Extras: Bonus to be discussed
Our client is looking for a talented and efficient Panel Beater / Panel Technician with a valid ATA or NVQ equivalent to join their leading team. You will be repairing damaged vehicles in line with manufacturer specifications, using the latest tools and techniques in a modern, high-spec bodyshop.
Responsibilities for Panel Beater / Panel Technician
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced accident repair centre
• Follow correct repair techniques and meet factory specifications and customer satisfaction
• Remove damaged panels and parts, and carry out necessary repairs or replacements
• Use welding, hand tools, and power tools to reshape and fit panels
• Fill, sand, and smooth out imperfections and dents
• Accurately align body parts for a perfect fit
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment
• Stay up to date with evolving industry repair methods
Skills and Qualifications for Panel Beater / Panel Technician
• You will have served a recognised apprenticeship as a Panel Beater and hold a qualification such as NVQ, VCQ, SVQ, or ATA
• You must have previous experience in a busy bodyshop environment
• You will be a motivated team player with a drive to earn bonus hours
• You will work to the highest standard and be confident handling both heavy and minor crash repairs
