Summary
We are currently looking for an experienced team leader/foreman to supervise a small team of men on sites throughout the UK on racking and shelving projects.
The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 years supervisory experience within the pallet racking industry and have excellent leadership qualities. Driving licence is essential. Drivers need to be 25 years of age for insurance purposes.
The position involves picking up team members from their homes, co-ordinating/instructing the team on the installation and maintenance of pallet racking and shelving systems throughout the UK as well as being hands-on with the job yourself. This position is a manual position and can involve heavy lifting at times. CSCS card, IPAF licence, and or SEIRS Card would be advantageous to allow access to most sites. A good head for heights, a willingness to work away from home, occasional weekends and some unsociable hours are all part and parcel of this position.
Hours of work do vary from starting as early as 5.00 am to finishing at 6.00 pm although these are not definitive.
As we offer a collect from your door and drop off at your door service for our employees, the candidate should ideally live in the Wakefield area.
