Summary
District Homes Housing Association is a registered housing provider working in conjunction with Manchester City Council to provide accommodation and support services to local people and families. Based in Heywood with travel across central Manchester and the northwest region. We are seeking an experienced Property Inspector to join our multi-talented team to empower and assist customers to maintain their tenancies and move on into appropriate permanent accommodation.
Due to an increasing demand for our services, we are currently looking to expand our team and have more than one vacancy open currently. Job description
You will be self-motivating with good interpersonal skills and need to have experience of inspecting residential accommodation, assessing its quality and identifying and specifying repair and maintenance work. You will be confident in liaising with customers and contractors to resolve issues and be able to manage contractors undertaking repairs in a timely manner. HHSRS training would be an advantage as would an awareness of the issues facing homeless families and individuals.
