Summary
Main Responsibilities of Post: To provide effective and efficient collection and distribution service for surgical theatre equipment, flexible endoscopes and other reusable devices for use in direct patient care. To provide support to decontamination staff by ensuring that materials for decontamination are; readily available in all work areas, storage facilities are kept well stocked, materials are received, stored correctly and maintained in a clean and tidy condition. The Decontamination Department is responsible for providing comprehensive decontamination services to the Trust.
