Summary

Defendant PI Litigator – Fast Track
Location: Bradford | Hours: Full-Time | Experience: Up to 3 years

A well-established, forward-thinking law firm is seeking a confident and proactive Defendant Personal Injury Litigator to join its successful litigation team in Bradford. This is an exciting opportunity to work with leading clients across the retail sector, delivering high-quality legal services in EL/PL claims.

The Role: You’ll manage a busy caseload of fast-track Employer’s Liability and Public Liability claims, from litigation through to trial, with occasional involvement in low-value Intermediate Track and pre-litigation matters. Working within a supportive team structure and using a modern case management system, you’ll deliver commercially-minded legal advice to respected national clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Handle a diverse range of litigated defendant EL/PL claims

- Provide clear recommendations on liability and quantum

- Ensure excellent client communication and service delivery

- Stay updated on legal developments (with training support)

- Work within compliance, risk, and equality frameworks

What We’re Looking For: Essential:

- Up to 3 years’ experience managing fast-track defendant PI claims

- Strong litigation and case handling skills

- Excellent organisation and communication

- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

- High accuracy and attention to detail

- Ability to meet deadlines and manage workload under pressure

Desirable:

- EL/PL experience in a retail context

- Exposure to low-value Intermediate Track claims
