Summary

Ossett Academy are seeking to appoint an Inclusion Learning Mentor. If you have the passion and commitment with a desire to support some of our most hard to reach pupils to achieve and remain in the mainstream academy, then we would love to hear what you can bring to the role at the Academy. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate resilience and the ability to manage challenging pupil behaviours.

It is essential for the successful candidate to demonstrate flexibility, have some experience of working with children and young people and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and pupils alike.

The successful candidate ideally will have a good understanding of behaviour management and procedures and will be familiar with safeguarding processes and understand it’s importance in a diverse school environment.

This position is on a full-time basis working Monday to Friday 8.15am to 3.15pm, with a half an hour unpaid lunch break per day.
