Summary

A post-doctorate research fellow is required to support wind tunnel experiments for a period until 30/09/2025.

The work will be performed at the University of Southampton. The applicants should have a PhD in engineering or a related area. In particular experience in experimental methods for aerodynamics is essential. Good prior experience in wind tunnel testing is essential with experience in particle image velocimetry, hotwire anemometry and pressure measurements.

The work will also involve close collaboration with consortium partners. The candidate will be required to work closely with other researchers at the Airbus Noise Technology Centre at the University of Southampton, to perform and supervise the wind tunnel experiments.

*Applications will be considered from candidates who are working towards or nearing completion of a relevant PhD qualification. The title of Research Fellow will be applied upon completion of PhD. Prior to the qualification being awarded the title of Senior Research Assistant will be given.
