About HETA:
Humberside Engineering Training Association (HETA) is a dynamic and expanding Group Training Association (GTA) with training centres in Hull, Grimsby, and Scunthorpe. We specialise in providing Level 3 & 4 engineering apprenticeships, higher education, and upskilling courses to over 300 client companies.
Partnering with industry leaders in engineering and manufacturing, we are dedicated to advancing engineering training locally, regionally, and nationally.
Job Purpose
To strengthen the Human Resources function and to be the lead person to seek out potential candidates and carry out on-boarding of new staff. In turn this role will be externally facing to carry out Research and Development activities that result in us being able to find the widest pool of new talent.
The post holder will be expected to work closely with the wider management team to ensure HETA always works cohesively as a ‘whole organisation’.
Main Tasks
• Partner with Department Managers throughout the whole recruitment cycle from supporting with the writing of job descriptions through to job offer and candidate start.
• Use innovative search tools and traditional networking techniques to locate candidates for relevant positions and actively expand our current candidate network whilst providing key market intelligence to the Senior Leadership Team.
• Ensure we attract and hire the best talent for vacant and new positions whilst growing a strong candidate pipeline
• Accurately screen candidate applications. Filter and review CVs, vet candidates, pre- screen and assess their skills, before recommending them for formal interview.
• Collaboratively interview candidates during various hiring stages, including phone/video, first-round and second-round interviews when required.
Location and Travel
This position is based at our Hull training centre. A valid driving license and access to your own transport is required, as occasional travel between centres may be necessary.
