Position: Semi-skilled MIG Welder

Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour
Job Type: Temporary
Working Hours:
39 hours per week
8am-4.30pm Mon-Thurs with a 3.30pm finish on a Friday.
About the Role:
Our client in Oldham are currently seeking a Welder to join their dynamic team on a temporary 4 week assignment. This is an exciting opportunity for a semi-skilled MIG welder. The role involves fabricating and assembling metal frames and cages to client specifications, ensuring high-quality output and precision in workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform MIG welding on a variety of steel components.
Assemble and weld metal frames and cages to exact client specifications.
Ensure high standards of quality and precision in all fabrication work.
Work from engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Operate and maintain fabrication machinery and tools safely.
Adhere to health and safety regulations in the workplace.
Requirements:
Proficiency in MIG welding techniques.
Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes.
Ability to interpret and work from technical drawings.
Keen attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to industry regulations.
