Summary

Vacancy Information

Hourly rate of pay: £17.04 - £18.45

Days and Hours of Work:
Monday - Friday, 09:00-17:00
Flexi time is applicable.
To start asap.

This role will be based on site, and will require an ability to read maps; an understanding of manual labour; and an ability to work closely and effectively with colleagues in Amenity Services.

The successful candidate will take a lead on headstone checking processes, including : -

- Carrying out risk assessments on headstones to ensure the Council complies with Health and Safety regulations.

- Information management of assessments, and recording the findings from risk assessments.

- Implementing the actions required as a result of the headstone checks.

Job Details

The jobholder is responsible for effective liaison and coordination of bereavement services including an oversight of the electronic burial management system headstone check processes.

Job Requirements

Relevant Qualifications
The Jobholder must be educated to HNC level or equivalent in an appropriate discipline e.g. business administration, computing, or public services and /or be able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge, skills and competencies gained through previous relevant experience.

Driving Licence
As the duties of this role require you to effectively travel to successfully undertake the full remit of the role, you must hold a current driving licence and have access to a vehicle.*
